Auckland Airport is expanding and refreshing its international terminal dining offering, with 10 new or upgraded food and beverage outlets set to open progressively this year.
The revamped line-up includes a mix of New Zealand brands and international operators, featuring BurgerFuel, Starbucks, Needo, TJ Katsu, Roll’d, Auckland Coffee Exports and NZ Pie Co & Croissant Lab, alongside refurbished venues including Best Ugly Bagels and Vantage Bar & Kitchen.
Auckland Airport head of retail Lucy Thomas says the changes are designed to improve the customer experience before departure.
“We’re bringing together a mix of New Zealand operators and brands, experienced airport food and beverage partners and recognised international names to give travellers more choice before they fly.”
The redevelopment also includes new dining concepts such as The Local and Fernery Eatery & Bar, while landside dining will be refreshed with a new café, bar and restaurant concept, The Social.
Lucy says the aim is to encourage travellers to head through security earlier by offering a wider range of dining options, from quick takeaway meals to full-service restaurants showcasing New Zealand food and hospitality.
The expanded dining programme forms part of Auckland Airport’s wider international terminal upgrades, with additional brands expected to be announced as redevelopment continues.
