Queenstown Park Boutique Hotel says it is seeing growing interest from couples choosing to visit Queenstown during the quieter winter months rather than the traditional ski-season peak.
The hotel says visitors are increasingly seeking slower-paced experiences centred on food, wine, wellness and nature, rather than crowded attractions.
Director Ken Patterson says off-peak winter offers a different perspective on the destination.
“Winter is when Queenstown reveals itself. Couples who arrive exhausted from managing everything else suddenly have permission to focus only on each other.”
The 22-room boutique hotel has responded by developing winter itineraries featuring experiences including alpine helicopter picnics, wine tasting, hot pools and stargazing.
Ken says travellers are increasingly valuing curated experiences over traditional luxury, with concierge services helping guests make the most of their time in the resort.
