Fiji Airways unveils red hot deals for holiday starved Kiwis

 

Fiji Airways, Fiji’s national carrier, has released incredible holiday packages up to 45 per cent more affordable than two years ago, ahead of commencing daily commercial flights between New Zealand and Fiji from Monday, March 14, 2022.

 

The exclusive deals include flights, accommodation in a luxury resort and delicious meals.

Perfect for families, the Intercontinental Fiji Golf Resort and Spa package includes that kids stay and eat for free.

From March 14, Fiji Airways plans to launch daily flights from Auckland to Nadi and up to three flights a week from Christchurch, and up to two flights a week from Wellington.

Following the announcement from New Zealand Prime Minister, Jacinda Ardern, fully vaccinated Kiwis will be able to enjoy international travel without going through MIQ quarantine. Instead holiday-starved, Kiwi’s can enjoy a well deserved holiday in Fiji and then self isolate at home upon return.

Since resuming international flights from December 1, 2020, Fiji Airways has implemented a suite of new products and benefits to enhance the experience of its guests including increased standard baggage allowance from 23kg to 30kg for economy class passengers on all international flights.

Onboard dining has been given a rehaul with the appointment of renowned Fijian-New Zealand chef Richard Cross now overseeing all catering functions across the airline. Fiji Airways has also introduced a new suite of highly rated wines from renowned international wine regions.

Travellers with Fiji Airways can enjoy free access to digital reading platform PressReader, with more than 7000 international newspapers and magazines available to download directly on their own device. Fiji Airways is the first airline in the Asia Pacific region to offer this service and guests are able to read and download their favourite titles 96 hours prior to departure, until 24 hours after the flight.

Fiji Airways has also focused on new ways to entertain its younger passengers onboard with the launch of Our Ocean, Our Life.
