Cruise Lines International Association’s annual Cruise Month campaign will return across Australasia in October, with a programme aimed at building consumer interest in cruising and supporting travel advisors ahead of the coming season.
Running under the #LoveCruise banner, the campaign will include social media activity, digital advertising, education opportunities and other initiatives encouraging travellers to connect with CLIA travel consultants.
Four weekly themes will run throughout the month, beginning with Ocean Cruising from October 4–10, followed by River Cruising from October 11–17, Expedition Cruising from October 18–24 and Luxury Cruising from October 25–31.
CLIA has released the first stage of its Cruise Month Toolkit to help travel advisors develop their own campaigns, including logos, videos, digital banners, posters, customisable flyers and social media resources.
A new webinar series presented by CLIA cruise lines will also provide product updates, sales advice and details of Cruise Month promotions.
CLIA executive director in Australasia Joel Katz says the campaign is designed to inspire travellers while highlighting the expertise of travel advisors.
“Cruise Month is about inspiring travellers and directing them towards CLIA travel advisors, so we’ll be rolling out a succession of initiatives to help celebrate cruise holidays and the expertise of our member community.”
The Cruise Month Toolkit is available through the CLIA Members Hub.
