Good Day, the bar and café at Wellington International Airport, has won two honours at the 2026 Airport Food and Beverage (FAB) Hospitality Awards
The EVT-operated venue was named Asia Pacific Airport Bar or Pub of the Year in the under-20 million passengers category and shared the title of Asia Pacific Airport Instagrammable Location of the Year.
The awards attracted more than 450 entries from airports, hospitality operators and brands across the region.
Good Day opened at Wellington Airport last year and is operated by EVT, which also manages Rydges Wellington Airport Hotel, Peloton Bar & Eatery and Whiskey Lima Golf.
General manager of Rydges Wellington Airport Jeff Hermes says the awards are recognition of the team’s efforts.
“It’s fantastic for Good Day to be acknowledged as the best airport bar in Asia Pacific, not even a full year after opening.”
Wellington Airport chief executive Matt Clarke congratulated the team on the achievement, describing the awards as recognition among some of the world’s leading airport hospitality operators.
