Millennium Hotels & Resorts New Zealand announced the appointment of Hani Daher as vice president operations, effective Monday, November 3, 2025.
Hani is an award-winning hospitality leader with more than 20 years of international experience across Australia, the Pacific, Middle East and Africa. He joins Millennium Hotels & Resorts New Zealand from Travel + Leisure Co. International, where he currently oversees a 14-property multi-brand portfolio across Victoria, South Australia, Tasmania and Far North Queensland, including Wyndham Destinations and Accor Vacation Club properties.
His career has included roles with IHG Hotels & Resorts, Marriott International, Starwood, Radisson Hotel Group, Stamford Hotels and Resorts and Ramada Resort Port Vila, where he led pre-openings, repositioning projects, and large-scale F&B and conferencing operations.
Hani’s leadership has been recognised with multiple industry awards, including finalist for Australian general manager of the year (2022–2024) and recipient of the Australian Timeshare Holiday Ownership Council general manager of the year (2022–2023).
Known for his hands-on approach and KPI-driven focus, Hani has delivered measurable uplifts in guest satisfaction, revenue and profitability across diverse markets. He places emphasis on service excellence, food and beverage innovation, and operational alignment, all areas that will benefit Millennium Hotels & Resorts’ partners and clients.
