Thrifty has teamed up with The Wiggles to launch Backseat Brainiacs – a brand-new in-car experience that keeps the whole family entertained, minds engaged, and screens switched off.
For a limited time, when booking a rental car with Thrifty, customers can grab The Wiggles activity pack for free, designed to keep children happy and occupied throughout the trip.
Each pack includes a memory card matching game, a road trip scavenger hunt, and the listen-along Backseat Brainiacs audio quiz read out by The Wiggles themselves, so there’s something for every kind of young traveller.
The launch follows research revealing that during road trips, children now spend as much as 56 per cent of their time on tablets and smartphones. And while screens can be a lifesaver on long drives, Backseat Brainiacs offers a refreshing, screen-free alternative that gets the whole family involved.
“Long car rides with young children can be a challenge, so we wanted to bring a bit of Wiggles magic to help make them more fun,” says Red Wiggle Simon Pryce.
