New Zealand-owned JetPark Hotels is continuing to invest across its Auckland, Hamilton and Rotorua properties, with projects including a new solar installation, expanded car parking, upgraded guest rooms and improvements to its meeting and leisure facilities. JetPark also welcomes back a familiar face and launches new summer menus across Auckland and Hamilton.
The work is part of a wider programme of upgrades across the three hotels, with investment focused on the different needs of each property and its guests.
Auckland: Solar, Parking and Room Upgrades
At JetPark Auckland Airport, a new solar energy system is being installed to help reduce the hotel’s reliance on electricity purchased from the grid.
The hotel has also extended its car parking facilities to provide additional capacity for guests, while more than 80 guest rooms are being upgraded, including its Superior King rooms.
The projects are among several improvements being made at the Auckland property, with work progressing while the hotel continues to welcome guests.
Guests are also in for a treat with the launch of Flying Fish Restaurant’s new summer menu, which is catered for every individual taste.
Hamilton: Guest Room Improvements
JetPark Hamilton Airport has introduced new guest room furniture, giving its accommodation a fresh look.
The improvements are part of the hotel’s ongoing investment in its facilities for guests visiting the Waikato region, whether for business or leisure.
The hotel has also welcomed back Rodolfo Costa as Head Chef to its Propeller Restaurant, and a new menu is ready to launch for the start of summer.
Rotorua: New Pool and Refreshed Facilities
At JetPark Rotorua, work on a new pool and outdoor area is nearing completion, giving guests a refreshed space to relax and enjoy their stay.
The hotel’s Matthews Room, used for meetings and private functions, has also been redecorated, while new furniture has been introduced into guest rooms.
The changes are particularly welcome for families and leisure travellers, while the improvements to the Matthews Room also benefit businesses and groups using the hotel.
Continuing to Invest
JetPark Hotels director of Sales & Marketing, Stuart Thompson, says there’s been plenty happening across the group.
“We’ve got a lot going on across all three hotels, and it’s great to see these projects coming together, as well as seeing Rodolfo back in the kitchen in Hamilton and Silvia Fang join as our new sales manager for Wholesale and Inbound.
“In Auckland, we’re investing in solar energy, additional parking and upgrading more than 80 rooms. Hamilton has new guest room furniture, and in Rotorua, the new pool and outdoor area is looking fantastic, along with the other improvements we’ve made around the hotel.
“Each property has different needs, and that’s what drives our decisions. There’s no point making changes just for the sake of it. We want to invest in things that make a genuine difference to our guests, while also making sure our hotels are well positioned for the future.”
Thompson says continued investment is important for a New Zealand-owned hotel group operating in a competitive market.
“People have plenty of choice when it comes to where they stay. We want them to choose JetPark because they know they’ll get genuine Kiwi hospitality, and we want to give them every reason to come back.”
