Holiday Parks New Zealand has recognised the country’s leading holiday parks and industry contributors at its 2026 Awards, held during the Holiday Parks NZ Conference & Expo in Hamilton.
Athenree Hot Springs and Holiday Park was named the 2026 Holiday Park Supreme Industry Award winner after also taking out the Medium Park of the Year title.
Judges praised the park’s manaakitanga, environmental programme and contribution to its local community.
Holiday Parks New Zealand chief executive Emily Byrne says the awards celebrate the people and businesses helping deliver quality visitor experiences.
“Holiday parks are a quintessential part of making memories that last a lifetime, for Kiwis and visitors alike.
“The awards are an opportunity to recognise the dedication of the individuals and teams that keep our holiday parks not only humming, but continuously evolving and innovating.”
Tāhuna Beach Holiday Park enjoyed a successful night, winning the Sustainable Commitment Award, Community Engagement Award and Large Park Improvement Award.
David Aflallo received the Outstanding Service Award for his long-standing contribution to the holiday park sector, while Cormac O’Keeffe of Ahipara TOP 10 Holiday Park was named Park Star.
