Researchers from Auckland University of Technology, on behalf of the Ministry of Business Innovation and Employment, are seeking responses to a survey of the tourism and hospitality workforce by August 31.

The survey will take approximately 10 minutes. The results will help to identify benefits and quantify the challenges of working in this important sector.

Upon completion, respondents can enter a prize draw for one of five $100 grocery vouchers.

This survey on a similar survey conducted in 2022 and will provide updated and comparable data about the tourism and hospitality workforce.

Respondents will contribute to building a body of knowledge to help understand the working conditions for the people who make up the tourism and hospitality sector.

MBIE will publish the findings from the survey on its website in late 2024.
