Ultimate Hikes has space available for the Great Walks Hiking Season on the Milford and Routeburn Tracks departing from Queenstown or Te Anau.
Based in Queenstown, Ultimate Hikes is the only operator of multi day guided walks on these iconic tracks. Our walks are all inclusive of transport, accommodation, food and hot showers – with the added element of informative guides, trained in mountain safety.
General manager, Noel Saxon says bookings from New Zealanders has been high following on from a busy season last year.
“We are seeing a great response from Kiwis in booking earlier so as not to miss out on preferred dates” he said. And since quarantine free travel has opened with Australia we are starting to see those bookings coming in too."
The Milford Track Guided Walk includes a night’s stay at the world famous Milford Sound, with a cruise on the Sound rounding out the experience.
“Milford Sound is often a highlight of visitor’s trips to Fiordland so we are very lucky to give our walkers the unique experience of spending a night there," says Noel.
The Routeburn Track Guided Walk is three days, two nights – perfect for people with less time, but who want the full hiking experience, with all the comfort of private lodges.
Departures for the 2021-22 season with Ultimate Hikes start on December 1 and run through to April 3, 2022.
