Apartment and hotel operator Nesuto have recently completed the final rebrand of its Waldorf properties in New Zealand and launched its first by Nesuto apartment hotel in its portfolio.
Formally Waldorf Newhaven and Waldorf Tetra, the properties have rebranded to Nesuto Newhaven and Tetra Serviced Apartments by Nesuto respectively.
Nesuto was founded in 1982 and originally known as Waldorf Apartment Group before being rebranded to Nesuto in July 2019. The brand currently has a footprint of 1,010 keys in 12 properties across four New Zealand and eight Australian locations. Nesuto also has two pipeline properties, with Nesuto Apartment Hotel Curtin in Perth, Western Australian and Nesuto Docklands Apartment Hotel in Melbourne, Victoria scheduled to open in 2021 and 2023.
The by Nesuto brand will represent a collection of diversified properties, all with a unique story and offering. Providing the ability to be built around independent styles, no two by Nesuto properties will be the same. They will provide the hallmarks of a Nesuto stay, including convenient locations, apartments with fully equipped kitchens, separate bedrooms, open plan living and dining spaces, internal laundry facilities, spacious hotel rooms with character and dedicated team members who ensure a personalised and memorable stay.

Tetra Serviced Apartments by Nesuto is located in central Auckland, close to both Auckland and AUT Universities, as well as some of the city’s major corporate offices and retail and restaurant precincts. These properties join the recently reopened Nesuto Stadium Hotel and Apartments which underwent a $13 million refurbishment project and saw the apartment rooms and hotel room’s inventory increase by almost 50 per cent to 244 keys. Nesuto Stadium inventory is today 72 renovated one and two-bedroom apartments, 28 renovated studios and 144 new-build hotel rooms, the lobby has been refurbished an additional lift has been installed and a brand new restaurant and bar, Nook, has been added to the building.
