AT@China to take place in Beijing

Travel Link, a leading integrated marketing company specialized in the tourism industry, is pleased to announce that AT@China – the first Aviation and Tourism Forum in China will be held in Beijing from October 24-25, 2019.

The inaugural 2019 AT@China is co-organized by Travel Link and G&W Consulting, the backbone of aviation and tourism advisory in the China market and is supported by International Cooperation and Service Center, Civil Aviation Administration of China.

It will bring together representatives of more than 50 airlines, 80 airport management bodies, and 80 government departments and tourism authorities from over 80 countries and regions.

China is leading Asia’s tourism and aviation boom. According to CAAC, by the end of 2018, there were 235 certified airports in China, an increase of six from the end of last year. These certified airports handled 1.265 billion passengers in 2018, up by 10.2 per cent over the previous year. Meanwhile, according to the China Tourism Academy, the number of China outbound tourists reached to 149.72 million in 2018, which is an increase of 14.7 per cent when comparing to 2017. The number of inbound tourists reached 141.2 million, an increase of 1.2 per cent over the same period of the previous year.

“With the boom, more and more airlines and destinations are breaking into the China market,” says general manager of Travel Link Brenda He.

“As a tourism marketing agency, we continue to receive many questions from destinations, airlines and airports: How can we develop new routes? How can we attract airline to open new routes? How can we attract Chinese travelers? How do we provide better services? How should we prepare for Chinese market? And in addition to this, is it possible to get these three parties to work closely to get sustained success?

“To fill in this gap, we have launched AT@China–the first tourism and aviation conference focused on the top strategists, marketers, and investors in the industry — the people creating and defining the future of travel,” she says.

“We carefully curate topics and speakers for this two-day conference in order to inspire our fellow professionals. The agenda is packed, and we are delighted to be able to present such a diverse, dynamic and well-regarded group of key notes speakers and panel guests.”

The event will accelerate and facilitate deeper entrepreneurial business relationships and ongoing collaboration opportunities between China and the world. At AT@China, there will be a mix of decision makers from global travel and aviation brands, investors and business development executives looking to assess opportunities for expansion and entrepreneurs seeking high-level knowledge and connections with those decision makers and investors.
