Heritage Hotel Management are delighted to welcome Desmond Moraes as the new general manager of Heritage Collection’s Marlborough Vintners Hotel, Blenheim.
He joins the hotel from Te Waonui Forest Retreat where he was assistant hotel manager for the last year. Prior to that he was the lodge manager for Braemar Lodge for two years. Also in his career he has worked for two and a half years at the Rendezvous Hotel Christchurch as assistant manager.
As well as having worked extensively in New Zealand, he has worked in hotels in both Dubai and Saudi Arabia.
He has a bachelor’s degree in hotel and tourism management from Mumbai and a post graduate diploma in tourism and hospitality management from the University of Waikato.
