The Great New Zealand Bingo Bonanza has partnered with BookMe to encourage more Kiwis to explore, have fun and provide great rewards for doing so.
The Great New Zealand Bingo Bonanza is a digital travel and activity platform, that gamifies travel and rewards kiwis for playing.
Bookme enables New Zealand tourism operators to dynamically price and sell inventory that helps them manage capacity along with giving consumers access to better deals. Creating a partnership to leverage the best of both platforms seemed an obvious choice.
“The ethos for Bingo is that we want to provide an entertainment and planning tool to help encourage and reward New Zealanders to discover their own back yard," says brand and customer success manager Sarah Burilin.
"BookMe is an exciting partner for Bingo Bonanza as they provide great offerings for consumers to book an activity and it is a New Zealand based company.
"We understand the value in booking and having easy ‘buy now’ options, but the providers that offer that such as Air BnB experiences, booking.com and trip advisor all send a significant chunk of money offshore.
"Our partnership with BookMe is our way to connect kiwis with an innovative and smart kiwi business that provides a great customer offering and booking experience. BookMe is popular with the tourism industry as it provides a channel for sales that assists in inventory management to help maximize tourism operator sales.”
“Bingo Bonanza is a fantastic way to help activate kiwis to get out and explore more of the amazing things to do in our backyard," says director of BookMe James Alder.
"Bookme is proud to be partnering with such a fun and innovative initiative to help support New Zealand tourism.”
Bingo Bonanza has been designed to activate domestic tourism and economic regeneration, incentivizing Kiwis to do more when they are out and about and share their experiences across social channels. It is supporting regional and national campaigns such as the “Do something new New Zealand” by Tourism New Zealand and Auckland Iconic Eats recently launched by ATEED.
It allows for agile responses to New Zealand’s unique tourism economy, give regions the ability to update and change their offerings seasonally or around special events or school holidays.
