NZ at Expo 2020 – Introducing the Care Collective family of sponsors

It is now less than one year to go until the 'World’s Greatest Show' begins.

Expo 2020 Dubai is set to wow millions of international visitors from October 20, 2020 and New Zealand has announced its first group of sponsors and suppliers for the project.

In line with New Zealand’s theme for Expo 2020 Dubai of Care for People and Place, the New Zealand at Expo 2020 family of sponsors is known as the Care Collective.

Sponsors and suppliers set to join New Zealand at the world’s largest business gathering come from a variety of sectors and include, Fonterra, Kaynemaile, Zespri International, Mr Apple New Zealand, Shadowspec Umbrellas, Air New Zealand, Gallagher, Enviro-Mark Solutions, noho.co, Resident, Tim Webber Design, and Moffat.

With 192 participating nations, Expo 2020 Dubai will be a mega-event celebrating commerce, industry and culture. New Zealand’s Care Collective members will be essential players in showcasing the country as an innovative nation committed to sustainability, whilst also gaining global attention for their goods and services in the lead-up to and during Expo 2020 Dubai.

"We’re excited to welcome these New Zealand brands into the Care Collective family of sponsors and are grateful for their support in promoting New Zealand," New Zealand’s Commissioner-General to Expo 2020, Clayton Kimpton says.

"The Care Collective will be able to take advantage of the facilities within the New Zealand Pavilion to access people, cultures, media and develop their network with a diverse range of international buyers, distributors, and investors."

The pavilion façade will be created with Kaynemaile Architectural Mesh, a world-leading, recyclable product designed and manufactured in New Zealand.

The pavilion also features a restaurant, where sponsors’ products will be used in the fit-out and feature on the menu, and VIP hospitality venues that can be booked by New Zealand companies and used to achieve commercial outcomes.

"New Zealand’s innovative spirit will be on display to millions of visitors at Expo 2020 Dubai, from the architectural design of the pavilion, the food served in our restaurant to the story told within the visitor experience," Clayton Kimpton says.

Expo 2020 Dubai will run from October 20, 2020 to April 10, 2021.
