Accor has expanded its New Zealand footprint in 2025 with the launch of JO&JOE and TRIBE in Auckland, alongside progress on the $100 million Pullman Hamilton redevelopment, set to open in 2026.
The Auckland openings introduce two of Accor’s global lifestyle brands to New Zealand for the first time. JO&JOE brings a social, design-driven accommodation concept to the city, while TRIBE offers a contemporary, compact hotel model aimed at urban travellers.
Accor Pacific chief operating officer Adrian Williams says the new hotels highlight continued confidence in New Zealand’s visitor economy.
“2025 has been a defining year for Accor in Aotearoa, with the arrival of dynamic new brands and strong momentum in our development pipeline,” Adrian says. “We’re committed to creating meaningful experiences and opportunities for local communities as visitor demand grows.”
Accor’s largest upcoming New Zealand project, Pullman Hamilton, is on track to open in 2026. The redevelopment of the city’s tallest tower will deliver 191 premium rooms, a day spa, signature dining, valet services and a private rooftop lounge.
Across the Pacific, Accor closes 2025 with a strong run of year-end openings in Australia and continued growth across its lifestyle portfolio. The group operates more than 400 hotels in the Pacific region under brands including Sofitel, Mövenpick, Pullman, Peppers, Novotel, Mercure, Mantra, ibis and Ennismore’s lifestyle collection.
