Accor, the largest hotel operator in New Zealand, together with its lifestyle entity, Ennismore, the fastest-growing lifestyle and leisure hospitality company, are delighted to announce the upcoming openings of two new hotels in Auckland’s downtown.
TRIBE Auckland Fort Street is slated to open on October 14, 2025, and JO&JOE Auckland will open its doors on November 3, 2025.
These highly anticipated openings mark the New Zealand debut of both brands, introducing a fresh new perspective to the city’s hospitality scene. The hotels are owned by New Zealand-based CP Group, one of the country’s largest private hotel investors and developers.

TRIBE Auckland Fort Street
A bold design-led hotel for the modern traveller, TRIBE Auckland Fort Street will offer 60 compact yet high-comfort guestrooms, a dynamic lobby bar, and a social hub designed to bring locals and travellers together. Located moments from Britomart and Commercial Bay, the hotel will blend intelligent design with unexpected details, championing functional style and modern living. Common areas are the focal point, with iconic design objects, contrasting colours, and surprising details selected with comfort and style in mind. As the first TRIBE hotel in New Zealand, the opening marks a major milestone in the brand’s global expansion.
JO&JOE Auckland
Set to redefine hybrid hospitality, JO&JOE Auckland brings the brand’s signature open-house concept to the Southern Hemisphere for the first time. The new hotel will offer 298 beds across 73 rooms – from dorm-style accommodations to private options – all designed for curious minds and adventurous spirits. With bold interiors, a buzzing rooftop bar, and communal spaces like the playful Happy House, JO&JOE Auckland invites guests to connect, create, and unwind in the heart of the city.
