MSC Cruises has released new Melbourne to Europe segment itineraries on its 2025 World Cruise, giving Aussies the chance to embark on MSC Magnifica domestically as she sails through local waters to Europe.
In the newly released segment, locals can join MSC Magnifica in Melbourne before she journeys through Australia’s most celebrated coastlines including maiden calls in Eden, Adelaide, Penneshaw for Kangaroo Island, Albany, Busselton and Fremantle.
From Australia, she will head to the pristine beaches and crystal-clear waters of the Maldives and Seychelles before stopping in Madagascar, an island famous for its unique wildlife and vibrant ecosystems. MSC Magnifica will then journey along the breathtaking African coastline with its diverse cultures and landscapes before arriving back in the Mediterranean.
This new segment is part of the MSC Cruises World Cruise 2025 which will see MSC Magnifica take a 120-night voyage around the world visiting 46 destinations across 21 countries and five continents.
“We’re incredibly excited to welcome MSC Magnifica down under for the local cruise season and announce bookings are now open out of Melbourne giving Aussies the chance to experience an MSC Cruises cruise direct from a domestic port,” says MSC Cruises’ managing director for Australia and New Zealand Lisa Teiotu.
“These new segments feature a choice of 47, 49 and 50 night itineraries departing Melbourne and allow our Aussie guests to visit a range of local and global destinations all the way through to Europe without the need to jump on a flight. The holiday starts the minute you set foot onboard!
“Many of our local ports of calls will be seeing an MSC Cruises ship in their waters for the first time so this presents a great opportunity for us to showcase the unique offering of MSC Cruises in this market and the features of the wonderful MSC Magnifica,” she says.
With its perfect combination of traditional craftsmanship, elegant design and relaxed refinement, MSC Magnifica promises a journey of a lifetime. Dine at five gourmet restaurants, make life-long friends with fellow adventurers over drinks in one of the 13 themed bars and lounges on board and relax in the award-winning MSC Aurea Spa and outdoor pool.
