Christchurch Airport is delighted to announce the appointment of Meg Matthews to its board of directors.
Meg brings with her more than 20 years of senior management experience across key business areas, including finance, human resource management, strategic planning, and marketing.
A qualified accountant, Meg has held leadership roles including head of marketing (Australasia) for Air New Zealand and chief executive of World of WearableArt.
“Meg’s broad range of strategic experience combined with her leadership in high-profile organisations, will bring a fresh perspective to our board,” says board chair Sarah Ottrey.
“Her unique blend of skills and her understanding of the New Zealand business landscape will be invaluable as we expand our business and make the most of the opportunities ahead.”
In addition to her professional background, Meg is also a director of TVNZ, Port Nelson, RealNZ Group, and the Halberg Foundation. She is a Member of the Institute of Directors and proudly of Ngāi Tahu descent from Te Rūnaka o Awarua.
Meg will officially join the board on October 29 at the next Annual General Meeting.
