Cordis Auckland has appointed Steve Woods as Director of Sales and Marketing, as the hotel strengthens its commercial strategy in a competitive visitor market.
Steve joins the hotel’s executive leadership team with more than 30 years’ experience across New Zealand, the United Kingdom and Asia, spanning sales, marketing, e-commerce and revenue strategy.
Focus on market performance
In his new role, Steve will lead sales and marketing activity, with a focus on driving revenue and strengthening the hotel’s position across both domestic and international markets.
He most recently held a multi-property role with Marsden Hotel Group, where he oversaw marketing, e-commerce and revenue strategy across a national portfolio.
Competitive hotel market
The appointment comes as Auckland’s hotel sector continues to rebuild international demand and compete for both leisure and business travellers.
Steve says there is an opportunity to strengthen partnerships and refine commercial strategy to support continued growth.
