The Auckland Travel Show will return this May, bringing travel specialists, destinations and operators from around the world to Auckland.
The two-day event will be held on May 9-10, 2026, at the New Zealand International Convention Centre.
Now in its second year, the event will feature more than 40 global travel specialists offering destination advice, itineraries and travel planning support for Kiwi travellers.
According to Stats NZ, more than 3.08 million short-term overseas trips were taken by New Zealand residents in the year to September 2025.
Exhibitors will include cruise lines, touring companies, airlines and destination specialists across regions including Europe, Asia and the Pacific.
Cruise operators attending include Avalon Waterways, Silversea, Viking, Windstar Cruises and Scenic and Emerald Cruises.
Touring specialists include Wendy Wu Tours, Viva Expeditions, On The Go Tours, Weka Travel and Inspiring Vacations.
The show will also feature tourism partners from Samoa, Tahiti, the Cook Islands, Vanuatu and New Caledonia, along with Asian destinations including Korea, Sri Lanka, Malaysia, Indonesia, China, Japan and Thailand.
New Zealand tourism experiences will also be represented, including Ngāi Tahu Tourism and regional airline Air Chathams.
The event is curated by Lemongrass Productions, the team behind Taste of Auckland and Winetopia.
Lemongrass Productions founder Rob Eliott says the event reflects growing demand for international travel experiences.
“New Zealanders are travelling overseas in significant numbers and there is growing demand for richer, more considered experiences,” Rob says.
“The Auckland Travel Show has been designed as a premium environment where travellers can connect directly with specialists who can help shape their next journey.”
The programme will include destination panels, cultural showcases and international cuisine.
A hospitality lounge and champagne bar will also be available for attendees.
Tickets start from $18 and are available at travelshow.co.nz.
