Radisson RED Auckland has officially opened at 33 Lorne Street, marking the first Radisson RED property in Australasia and the debut of Radisson Hotel Group in New Zealand.
Located in Auckland’s Art District, the 322-room hotel features gallery-inspired interiors, performance-led design elements and what operators describe as the country’s largest outdoor rooftop hospitality space.
The upper-upscale property includes a rooftop bar and event venue overlooking the Sky Tower, Albert Park and the harbour. The rooftop can accommodate up to 219 guests for cocktail-style events and is designed to host corporate functions, private gatherings and live performances.
The hotel positions itself as design-driven and pet-friendly, offering rooms and suites with skyline views and a fitness centre open daily from 5am to 11pm.
Tim Cordon, chief operating officer for the Middle East, Africa and South East Asia Pacific at Radisson Hotel Group, says the opening represents a significant milestone in the brand’s regional expansion.
The property also features an all-day dining venue and bar, with a rooftop restaurant scheduled to open shortly.
Radisson RED Auckland began welcoming guests from Monday, February 16, 2026.
