A new sales representation service, NZ Bespoke, has launched to support New Zealand’s business events sector, connecting buyers with a curated portfolio of meeting venues, incentive experiences and specialist event services.
Founded by tourism industry marketer Trish May, NZ Bespoke has been established to help small to medium-sized suppliers access the business events market through shared sales representation.
The NZ Bespoke portfolio includes 17 businesses across Auckland, Kaikōura, Christchurch, Aoraki Mount Cook, Wānaka, Queenstown, Central Otago, Dunedin and the West Coast. The offering spans conference-ready hotels, incentive-style accommodation, outdoor and team-building experiences, off-site venues, and transport and transfer services.
Trish says the service addresses a gap for suppliers that do not have the scale to support a dedicated MICE sales resource.
“NZ Bespoke enables smaller and medium-sized operators to actively engage with the business events market through a shared sales model,” says Trish.
“It allows high-quality New Zealand products to be represented in a way that is cost-effective and consistent, while still reaching the right buyers.”
The model builds on Trish’s earlier work with the New Zealand Travel Collective, an international inbound sales representation brand launched in August 2021.
“The approach is similar, but tailored specifically to business events,” says Trish.
“It provides a platform for outstanding New Zealand products to connect directly with business event agents and planners.”
NZ Bespoke will make its international debut at the Asia Pacific Incentives and Meetings Event in Melbourne from February 9-11.
“This is a significant milestone for NZ Bespoke, and I’m pleased to be represented on the Tourism New Zealand stand,” says Trish.
NZ Bespoke held a soft domestic launch at the Business Events Expo in November.
