Hosted buyer applications have opened for MEETINGS 2026, which will take place for the first time at the New Zealand International Convention Centre in Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland on June 17-18, 2026.
The country’s largest business events tradeshow is run by Business Events Industry Aotearoa. Its hosted buyer programme is open to key decision-makers and organisers of conferences, tradeshows, and incentive travel from New Zealand, Australia, and further afield.
BEIA chief executive Lisa Hopkins says demand is already running high.
“Business events professionals from across the Tasman and around the world are eager to be part of MEETINGS 2026 at the NZICC, so we’re opening hosted buyer applications earlier this year to reflect that interest,” she says.
Lisa says the event will showcase Auckland’s significant infrastructure developments, including the multi-billion-dollar upgrade at Auckland Airport, the City Rail Link, and more than 18,000 hotel rooms across the region.
Fully hosted buyers receive complimentary travel, accommodation, invitations to premium networking events, and on-site catering. Participants can select up to 32 pre-scheduled appointments over two days from more than 250 exhibitors representing 18 regions. One- and two-day options are available for New Zealand organisers.
“This year’s appointment schedule offers greater flexibility, giving hosted buyers more opportunities to meet their preferred exhibitors,” Lisa says. “Across one show floor we bring together the best suppliers in the New Zealand business events industry.”
Hosted buyers may also join Auckland and regional familiarisation tours, including a one-day Auckland famil on 16 June, and will have access to the Tourism New Zealand Destination and Knowledge Hub and the Celebrity Speakers Showcase.
Conference organisers attending PCOA25 in Christchurch this December can apply at the 100% Pure New Zealand stand.
Applications are now open at the MEETINGS 2026 website.
