Luxury cruise line Cunard has released its 2027/2028 programme, confirming the return of Queen Elizabeth to Australasia as part of her 113-night World Voyage.
It will be the first time in a decade that Queen Elizabeth has returned to the Asia-Pacific region on a World Voyage. Her itinerary includes an overnight stay in Sydney and visits to Airlie Beach, Cairns and three ports in Japan, as well as destinations across Asia, Australia, the Pacific Islands, Africa and the Americas.
Cunard’s newest ship, Queen Anne, will also undertake a 111-night Western Circumnavigation, with calls in Los Angeles, Hong Kong and an overnight stay in Sydney.
Both ships will depart on their World Voyages in January 2028, with opportunities for New Zealand and Australian travellers to join select segments to and from Sydney.
Across the fleet, Cunard’s new programme includes 110 itineraries visiting 97 destinations in 47 countries between October 2027 and May 2028. The programme features 52 UNESCO World Heritage sites, 22 overnight port calls and 23 late-evening departures.
Cunard president Katie McAlister says the new itineraries showcase the brand’s continued commitment to luxury exploration.
“I am incredibly excited to launch our new 2027/2028 programme, which has been designed to offer even more extraordinary ways to explore the world with Cunard,” Katie says.
“From two remarkable world voyages to journeys that encompass both new destinations and much-loved favourites, each itinerary captures the spirit of luxury adventure that defines our brand.”

As the newest ship in the fleet, Queen Anne will offer a mix of short and long voyages, including overnight calls in Los Angeles, Sydney, Hong Kong and Cape Town. The itinerary also includes visits to Laem Chabang (Bangkok) and Halong Bay — the latter for the first time in 14 years.
Queen Mary 2
The world’s only ocean liner, Queen Mary 2, will continue her signature Transatlantic crossings, alongside voyages to the Caribbean and Norway to view the Northern Lights.

Operating from Southampton, Queen Victoria will offer European itineraries including a seven-night voyage to Spain and Portugal and a new 28-night Atlantic Islands Discovery cruise visiting Cape Verde, Tenerife and Lisbon.
Guests can also combine itineraries through Cunard’s “Queen-to-Queen” voyages, travelling across multiple ships in one journey.
