Tūroa Ski Area has announced a one-off season pass offer aimed at making snow sports more accessible, with adult passes priced at $388 and youth passes at $88 for the 2026 winter season.
The pass provides unlimited access to the southern slopes of Mount Ruapehu and is available for purchase online from Wednesday, October 22, to Friday, October 31, 2025.
Tūroa chief executive Jono Dean says the offer is designed to remove financial barriers for New Zealanders keen to experience the mountain.
“We know Kiwis love to get outdoors, stay active and try new adventures, but the cost of snow sports can often be a barrier, especially in today’s economic climate,” Jono says. “This special season pass offer is about breaking down those financial obstacles and inviting everyone to experience the thrill of Tūroa on Mount Ruapehu.”
He says the initiative reflects Tūroa’s commitment to community and inclusivity.
“The Ohakune community’s support has been crucial to the launch of Pure Tūroa, and this is our way of giving back,” Jono says. “We believe this is New Zealand’s most value-driven winter season pass, and we’re excited to reignite a passion for winter sports across Aotearoa.”
Tūroa Ski Area features terrain for all experience levels and access to Ohakune’s après scene, with accommodation, restaurants, and nearby indoor golf, climbing and biking facilities.
