Export has created its own one-day “Great Walk” experience in the Coromandel to mark the launch of its new flavoured beer range, Export Crushed.
The six-kilometre Export Great Walk will take place on Saturday, November 15, along the private Pahi trail, one of New Zealand’s first privately operated coastal walks. The route passes through native bush and along coastal headlands with views to Great Barrier Island, ending at the Export Crushed Beer Garden — a temporary outdoor venue with seating, shade and games.
The event coincides with the release of Export Crushed, a 4 per cent ABV fruit-infused beer available in pineapple and lemon flavours. It is low in sugar and carbohydrates.
DB Breweries senior marketing manager Kate Baars says the concept aims to combine outdoor recreation with relaxation.
“The Export Great Walk isn’t about endurance or extremes — it’s about kicking back and reflecting on the little wins in life, the ‘I really just crushed that!’ moments that make a day brighter,” Kate says.
“It made sense to run this experience alongside the launch of Export Crushed. It’s light, fun and the perfect embodiment of a summer’s day where everything feels like it’s going your way.”
Tickets are priced at $60 per person and include return transport from Auckland to the trailhead, light snacks, beverages, and entry to the Export Crushed Beer Garden. The day runs from 9am to 7.30pm, with three hours allocated for walking and two hours for the post-walk event.
