Choice Hotels International welcomes Comfort Inn Sunset to the growing Comfort brand

Leading hotel group Choice Hotels International has welcomed Comfort Inn Sunset in Thames to its growing portfolio, further expanding the Comfort brand in New Zealand and offering travellers more affordable and accessible stays in one of the most scenic regions.

Nestled at the gateway to the stunning Coromandel Peninsula on New Zealand’s North Island, Thames is renowned for its rich gold rush history, breathtaking natural beauty and lively town centre. Comfort Inn Sunset is ideally positioned to take in the region’s charm, with a tropical-inspired exterior and stunning sunset views. Owned and operated by franchisees Robert and Lisa Davy, Comfort Inn Sunset marks the couple’s second property with Choice Hotels, following the success of Quality Inn Acapulco in Taupo.
