Hawke’s Bay Tourism is delighted to announce the appointment of Sarah Nash as its new PR and media specialist. Sarah’s primary focus in this pivotal role is to elevate the region’s profile as one of New Zealand’s premier visitor destinations.
With more than 25 years of experience in public relations across diverse sectors, including travel, luxury goods, health and well-being, events, and business, Sarah brings a wealth of expertise to the role. Her extensive career includes six years in London, where she managed high-profile travel and multinational accounts, followed by co-founding a boutique PR consultancy in Auckland.
Having called Hawke’s Bay home for the past 16 years, Sarah has cultivated a strong network of regional contacts, to add to her national networks and connections, positioning her ideally to champion the region’s unique attractions.
“I’m excited to join Hawke’s Bay Tourism and contribute to showcasing this extraordinary region and its amazing tourism offerings to the rest of the country and the world,” Sarah says.

Sarah’s appointment comes at a time when Hawke’s Bay Tourism aims to amplify its presence to attract more visitors to the region. Her strategic vision and local connections will help strengthen partnerships and create compelling narratives to engage both domestic and international audiences.
