Exhibitor spaces and hosted buyer spots are in high demand for New Zealand’s leading business events industry showcase MEETINGS 2025 set for June 11-12.
Business Events Industry Aotearoa’s MEETINGS is returning to Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland for the first time in four years, with more than 200 of New Zealand’s venues, regions and services on show under one roof at Auckland Showgrounds.
BEIA chief executive Lisa Hopkins says Aotearoa New Zealand is incredibly appealing to business events professionals who organise conferences, corporate meetings, tradeshows and incentive travel.
“We have received a fantastic response from the industry and exhibition spaces are nearly sold out, while hosted buyer positions for Australian and New Zealand organisers are in hot demand.”
Exhibitor applications close next week, on March 4. First-time exhibitors or those returning after a five-year break can secure a cost-effective presence at MEETINGS 2025 with a handful of entry-level spaces left.
BEIA is partnering with the Auckland Tāmaki Makaurau Convention Bureau and business events community to ensure MEETINGS 2025 is a must-attend event. The 29th annual event will host 500 buyers, with more than 220 hosted buyers coming from Australia, New Zealand and key international markets, and 300 domestic day buyers for two days of appointments, networking and education sessions.
“With new infrastructure across the country, excellent air connectivity, incredibly diverse regional character, strong Māori cultural values, and innovative sustainability practices, Aotearoa New Zealand is a truly exciting destination for business events,” Lisa says.
Business events’ organisers from Australia and New Zealand can apply to be fully hosted to MEETINGS and receive complimentary air travel, transfers, accommodation, registration to social events and a personalised appointment programme.
