Applications are now open for MEETINGS 2025, New Zealand’s largest and longest running business events industry tradeshow.
Business Events Industry Aotearoa’s 29th annual event returns to Tāmaki Makaurau Auckland on June 11-12, 2025.
Chief executive Lisa Hopkins says BEIA is delighted to be bringing MEETINGS back to Auckland for the first time in four years.
“This is an exciting year to showcase the dynamic changes in New Zealand’s largest city with brand new key infrastructure ready to unveil,” she says.
“Buyers will have the opportunity to see the city in a whole new light. The NZICC and City Rail Link are set to open later in 2025, and several new hotels, including five-star product at the Horizon Hotel and Intercontinental Auckland, as well as the expansion of the Cordis Pinnacle Tower will all be on show.”
The MEETINGS hosted buyer programme is open to key decision makers and organisers of business events, including conferences, tradeshows and travel incentives from Australia and New Zealand.
Hosted Buyers receive complimentary travel, accommodation, attendance at two social functions – Welcome Function and MEETINGS Celebration, and catering throughout the tradeshow.
More than 220 qualified buyers from Australia and New Zealand are expected, as well as 300 domestic day buyers.
Fully-hosted buyers can book 30 appointments over two days from a choice of 220 exhibiting organisations and 18 different regions. For New Zealand business event organisers, both one and two day hosted buyer options are available.
Australian Hosted Buyers can apply to participate on a comprehensive two-day Auckland pre-familiarisation, in addition to the one-day host city famil that is included in their itinerary. New Zealand Hosted Buyers can also apply to participate in the host city famil.
Hosted Buyers will also have a chance to extend their stay and explore other New Zealand regions post-MEETINGS.
Conference organisers visiting the 100% Pure New Zealand stand at the PCOA24 conference in Brisbane next week can apply to be fully hosted to MEETINGS next year.
Applications also opened online on December 2 on the MEETINGS 2025 website.
