Bluebridge Cook Strait Ferries are proud to announce the introduction of their new
Pōhutukawa Lounge. Available to book now for sailings from December 1, 2024.
The all-new Pōhutukawa Lounge onboard Connemara offers passengers an elevated all-inclusive onboard experience. The space will offer a sanctuary of comfort with multiple refined seating options, panoramic views, all-inclusive self-service food and a served drink selection, barista coffee and TV screens with entertainment options.
To ensure a more peaceful atmosphere away from the hustle and bustle of the main
passenger areas, the lounge is restricted to passengers aged 16 and over and capped at a maximum of 80 passengers.
“We have listened to our clients and the market demand for an elevated Cook Strait sailing experience,” says Bluebridge travel trade spokesperson Samantha Clarke.
“The launch of our new Pōhutukawa Lounge onboard Connemara represents a refined upgrade option for passengers, as well as a necessary increase in overall passenger capacity through key summer months.”
This iconic Kiwi journey deserves an equally iconic onboard experience. The Pōhutukawa Lounge is designed to complement our other current upgrade options, private cabins and dog-friendly cabins. Passengers are invited to enjoy the flexibility to choose their preferred seating, whether it’s a reclining seat, low lounge chairs with tables for casual conversations, or taller tables intended for dining. Or, step out and enjoy some fresh air with the exclusive outside viewing deck.
Resellers are invited to include the Pōhutukawa Lounge in their customer bookings
traveling from December 1, 2024.
The lounge retails from $80 per person and is available for the daily 8.15am WP and 2pm PW Connemara sailings.
During peak summer season, it will also be available on the 8.30pm WP Connemara sailings between December 14, 2024 – January 12, 2025, and 2.30am PW Connemara sailings between December 15, 2024 – January 13, 2025.
