Cordis, Auckland is pleased to announce the appointment of two dynamic professionals to its leadership team.
Sunny Goo joins Cordis, Auckland as hotel manager, while Jacques Meyer has taken on the role of director of sales and marketing.
Sunny, who becomes the first female hotel manager at Cordis, Auckland, brings more than 17 years of experience in the hotel industry, having worked in New Zealand and Fiji. Her career has been marked by a dedication to enhancing guest experiences, streamlining operations, and leading teams to success.
With a background that includes leadership roles at prestigious brands such as Sofitel, voco, and other Accor and IHG hotels, Sunny has consistently demonstrated her ability to deliver outstanding hospitality. Her expertise and passion for excellence are expected to drive Cordis, Auckland’s operations to new heights.
Jacques Meyer, with extensive commercial experience in sales and marketing, joins Cordis, Auckland as director of sales and marketing. With a career in the hotel industry spanning more than 20 years, Jacques has worked in the United Kingdom and South Africa with brands like Hilton, IHG and Southern Sun and has most recently been with the New Zealand team at EVT Hotels & Resorts, encompassing local brands QT and Rydges.
His deep understanding of the market and strategic vision will be vital in expanding Cordis, Auckland’s presence and driving growth in the highly competitive hospitality industry while leading a team of passionate, seasoned professionals.
