New Zealand’s iconic theme park, Rainbow’s End, has a new CEO at its helm. Rainbow’s End’s Board is pleased to announce the appointment of Susan Mudie as the new chief executive officer, effective Monday, September 23, 2024.
Susan succeeds Karen Crabb, who signalled her intention to step down earlier this year.
Susan is currently business development and marketing manager at Rainbow’s End. She brings a wealth of experience and a proven track record of success to her new role.
Since joining Rainbow’s End in 2018, Susan has been instrumental in driving the Park’s growth and innovation. Her strategic initiatives and data-driven approach have helped to maximise revenue and enhance the guest experience, making Rainbow’s End a beloved destination for more than 430,000 visitors annually.
Rainbow’s End board chair Richard Wilks, says he is confidence in Susan’s leadership.

Rainbow’s End, New Zealand’s only theme park, is renowned for its diverse attractions, with more than 20 rides, Kids Kingdom for the littlies, Playlab gaming centre and comprehensive catering services. With nearly 300 staff members, the Park remains a cornerstone of entertainment and community engagement in Auckland.
Under Susan’s leadership, Rainbow’s End is poised for continued growth and innovation, ensuring its place as a premier destination for fun and adventure in Aotearoa.
