In a move aimed at boosting tourism and increasing international relations, China has announced a new visa exemption policy for citizens of New Zealand, Australia, and Poland.
Starting July 1, 2024, through December 31, 2025, citizens from these countries will be able to enter China without a visa for stays of up to 15 days.
This policy, part of China’s broader visa expansion initiative, is designed to make it easier for foreigners to visit the country. Whether traveling for business, tourism, visiting family and friends, or just passing through, citizens of New Zealand, Australia, and Poland can enjoy visa-free entry into China. However, those who do not meet the visa-free criteria will still need to obtain a visa prior to their trip.
The announcement has been met with enthusiasm from both the travel industry and potential visitors. This new policy is expected to significantly increase the number of visitors to China, providing a boost to local economies and further strengthening diplomatic ties with these nations.
Tourism experts predict a surge in travel plans as people take advantage of the easier access to one of the world’s most culturally rich and historically significant destinations. Business leaders are also optimistic, seeing this as an opportunity to enhance trade relations and explore new ventures in the Chinese market.
