Ownership of the New Zealand based accommodation booking management software ResBook is now 100 per cent with Tomahawk directors John Hayson and Gina Paladini.
Having been major shareholders for much of the past 15 years, they are now excited to announce their full ownership and commitment to the platform.
Their investment in ResBook signals confidence of its position in the market and lays a foundation for future development. Founding owner Gina looks back on the origins of the booking system which evolved into ResBook.
“ResBook, originally branded as Availability, has been the culmination of many years of development since our first B&B customer signed up back in 2003. We are proud and very appreciative that we have retained many of the same customers over the past 21 years.”
John joined forces with Gina in 2008, seeing the obvious potential of the system, which instigated the launch of the ResBook brand to the market. John looks to the future with excitement:
“Now in 2024, we are looking forward to rejuvenating the brand in the marketplace after the effects of the pandemic and it’s exciting that we are in the position to further invest in developing the product in the way it deserves. Much of our focus during the COVID era was on new services, such as Refundable Bookings, to protect our operators’ businesses. Now we can get back to feature development.”
ResBook already provides a strong platform for their clients to manage bookings, day to day operations, and online bookings – both direct and via online travel agents. Future planned enhancements will no doubt bring further benefits to their loyal accommodation providers and provide incentive to attract more.
