Flight Centre Travel Group’s new independent brand, Envoyage, is thrilled to announce the
appointment of Jodie Burnard as its global product lead.
With more than 25 years of experience in the travel industry, including a remarkable 16-year journey with FCTG New Zealand, Jodie brings a wealth of expertise and a proven track record of success.
Prior to joining FCTG, Jodie held positions at The Travel Corporation, Kumuka Worldwide, and Stella Travel Services in New Zealand. Her extensive background in marketing and her most recent role as head of communications, PR and group partnership and position on the FCTG NZ Executive Team underscore her strategic leadership abilities and deep understanding of the industry.
In her new role, Jodie said she will seek to create and drive a compelling product strategy that is fully aligned with Envoyage’s vision to ‘be the home and heart of the travel industry for the independent world’.
“I am thrilled to be joining the fantastic team at Envoyage and look forward to the opportunity to drive positive outcomes for our business and partners in the product space,” she says.
“Together we’ll do this by creating unique and highly compelling offers for the Envoyage member network.”
Flight Centre Travel Group managing director of luxury and independent Danielle Galloway says Jodie will play a significant role in making Envoyage’s vision a reality.

Jodie will continue to be based in New Zealand and her role will officially commence on 1 May 2024.
The existing independent offering at FCTG is set to be elevated under Envoyage, with plans to also branch out into unique extensions specialising in the lucrative and expanding areas of corporate and luxury travel.
