CDC reappoints Steve Hill as chief executive

Clutha District Council Mayor Bryan Cadogan has announced the reappointment of Steve Hill as chief executive for a further five-year term.

Mayor Bryan Cadogan says “Both councillors and I are pleased to announce the reappointment of Steve. We as a council acknowledge Steve and his wife Lana’s ongoing commitment to the district as well as Steve’s strategic thinking and approach.

“He also brings a great deal of knowledge and experience which is of great benefit to our district, and we are looking forward to continue to work together as we strive to deliver the key projects that make our district thrive.” he says

An exhaustive process was undertaken and overseen by Sheffield Recruitment and involved all Clutha District councillors.

Steve says “I appreciate the confidence councilors have expressed in me through this process. There is a lot to do in what will be my last 5 years at CDC and my intention is to leave this Council in the best place possible for the next chief executive.”
