Hotel Grand Chancellor, a renowned name in the hospitality industry, proudly announces the appointment of Steve Martin as the area general manager for Hotel Grand Chancellor Auckland and James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor in Wellington.
This strategic move comes ahead of the opening of the Auckland property, which features 191 rooms, fitness facilities, and restaurant and bar, with opening scheduled for mid-2024.
The investment of the Hotel Grand Chancellor brand in the New Zealand market is a testament to its commitment to providing exceptional hospitality experiences.
The Auckland property, strategically located near the new convention centre, business districts, and vibrant restaurants and nightlife, is poised to cater to the diverse needs of both business and leisure travellers.
Steve, a seasoned professional in the hospitality industry, will be relocating to Auckland to assume his new role early in the coming year. His journey with Hotel Grand Chancellor began as the general manager of Hotel Grand Chancellor Christchurch, followed by his successful tenure as the general manager of James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor in Wellington since 2012.
Notably, Steve has played a pivotal role in overseeing significant upgrades at the James Cook Hotel Grand Chancellor in recent years.
