The New Zealand International Convention Centre has appointed three new sales professionals who will focus exclusively on growing the domestic events market.
“We are delighted to be growing our domestic sales team, increasing our ability to partner with important local clients across Aotearoa,” says NZICC director of sales and planning, Alana Bicknell.
“Driving business within New Zealand is of utmost importance to the success of the NZICC, so it was vital that we built an experienced team that has a strong focus on client experience.”
Josephine Hutton – Associate director of sales, New Zealand
Josephine Hutton joins the NZICC team as associate director of sales where she will oversee the domestic sales team. Josephine’s most recent role was as Sales Manager for SkyCity Auckland. She has previously held roles at Stamford Auckland, and The Langham Auckland.
Sheena Zheng – Sales manager – associations and Government
Sheena Zheng joins the NZICC team from Auckland Conventions, Venues and Events, where she currently holds the role of business development manager. Sheena will be the account manager responsible for generating business from the New Zealand association and Government markets.
Natasha Sikivou – Sales manager – corporate and special events
Natasha Sikivou joins the NZICC team as the corporate and special events sales manager, a role which sees her promoted from events executive, a role she has held at SkyCity Auckland since May 2021. In her new position, Natasha will be partnering with New Zealand corporates, promoters, and exhibition organisers for future bookings at NZICC.
The NZICC’s New Zealand sales team will be available for domestic booking enquiries from November 1, 2023, for events to take place from July 2025, with an official opening month to be confirmed next year. For enquiries, email the team at: [email protected]
