RotoruaNZ has launched the highly anticipated “Best Summer Ever” campaign, aiming to inspire and activate visits to the city of Rotorua during the upcoming summer season.
In a bid to amplify the campaign’s reach and create more buzz about the region, RotoruaNZ encourages locals to actively participate by using the campaign hashtag #BestSummerEver in their social media posts showcasing their favourite Rotorua spots.
The campaign will be in full swing from November 1, 2023, to February 1, 2024.
With the primary objective of inspiring and activating travellers to partake in Rotorua’s world’s best summer experiences, the campaign also seeks to fortify Rotorua’s prominence as a premier travel destination, accentuating the city’s unique and compelling attractions, such as whitewater rafting, Ziplining, geothermal and cultural attractions.
The “Best Summer Ever” campaign, spanning an extensive three-month period, will leverage a plethora of marketing channels and strategic partnerships to ensure the campaign message gets out there, that Rotorua is the place to have the best summer ever! The initiative will kick off with a robust digital and traditional advertising broadly targeting our North Island drive market, as well as major centres Auckland, Wellington and Christchurch.
Emphasising a unified effort, RotoruaNZ is excited to collaborate with 16 local operators, ensuring a broad and impactful promotional endeavour throughout the summer season that increases awareness of the high quality experiences that Rotorua offers.
Under the campaign’s slogan, Rotorua aspires to establish itself as the ultimate destination for travellers, promising an unforgettable summer brimming with adventure and relaxation. This aspirational message will distinguish Rotorua from other domestic destinations, beckoning visitors to embark on a journey of excitement, action and rejuvenation.
Employing a meticulously crafted channel strategy encompassing platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, TikTok, and various digital mediums, RotoruaNZ aims to amplify its outreach and engagement, effectively heightening awareness and driving bookings throughout the campaign period.
