New key appointments at Nesuto

Nesuto Hotels and Apartments has recently made new key appointments as the hotel and apartment brand focuses its growth strategy across its Australia and New Zealand operations. 

John Bristowe has been promoted to director of operations Australia and New Zealand. 

John joined Nesuto in September 2018 and has been instrumental in restructuring the group’s New Zealand business and developing strategic relationships.

John's new role will see him overseeing the operations of all Nesuto’s Australia and New Zealand properties, including the opening of Nesuto Docklands in early 2023, supporting property managers with day-to-day operations and implementing guest service and operating standards across the group. 

Nikita Beresnev has been appointed commercial director Australia and New Zealand.

Nikita joined Nesuto in September 2018 as director of revenue Australia and New Zealand. Nikita championed Nesuto’s rebranding including distribution and digital marketing strategies and forged strong relationships with across sales, marketing, operations, and distribution partnerships. 

Nikita is the main point of contact for revenue management, sales, marketing, including social, and distribution for Nesuto.  

Lee Johnson has been promoted to human resources and training manager Australia and New Zealand. 

Lee joined Nesuto in early 2019 as learning and development manager and relief hotel manager. Lee spent his first year with the group working across Australia and New Zealand in leadership positions. He created the group’s brand signature service ethos and in-house training program, Make the Call, which has been rolled out to empower teams to deliver great guest experiences.  

In his new role, Lee will be responsible for all Human Resource-related matters across Australia and New Zealand, training, and development opportunities, assisting with mentoring team members and ensuring Nesuto ‘stays real’.
