The Parliamentary Commissioner for the Environment has decided to delay the launch of his forthcoming report on tourism, scheduled for this Thursday, December 12.
He fully understands that the attention of the tourism sector and many other people will be elsewhere following the tragic events at Whakaari/White Island.
The new release date will be Wednesday, December 18 at 2pm.
Updated communications about this rescheduling will be sent out in due course.
