ANZCRO managing director Nick Guthrey says he is pleased to announce the appointment of Tony Saunders, former Tourism New Zealand general manager Australia to the role of national sales and marketing manager.
Tony joins the ANZCRO team with seven years of experience working for Tourism New Zealand in Australia. Tony has also managed global brands for Arnott’s Biscuits based in New Zealand, Australia, and the UK, as well as Yum Restaurants International.
Tony was born and raised in Auckland but has lived in Australia for the last 17 years, so he has a strong knowledge of New Zealand as a travel destination and a deep understanding of the travel industry in Australia.
Nick says Tony has a passion for collaborating with New Zealand tourism operators and the travel trade in Australia to help them grow outbound sales to New Zealand.
“Tony’s expertise in developing sales and marketing initiatives that convince Australians to book a holiday in New Zealand make him an excellent fit for the role, which has responsibility to grow sales in Australia for ANZCRO.

Tony will be based at ANZCRO’s head office in the Gold Coast and starts the role on Monday August 5.
