Experienced tourism and travel marketing specialist Jo Wedlock has been appointed as GO Rentals’ Head of Marketing and Brand.
With an extensive background in marketing across consumer, entertainment, travel and tourism brands including most recently as UK Head of Marketing for Flight Centre Business Travel and previous experience with House of Travel and Pacific Blue Airlines NZ, GO Rentals Managing Director James Dalglish says Jo is an excellent addition to the team.
“Jo has an extensive background in New Zealand’s travel and tourism industry, but also in working for innovative, forward-thinking companies that are heavily focused on their customer service, much like GO Rentals is.
“GO Rentals is an expanding business in New Zealand, and we are continually innovating – with a number of exciting new customer service experiences planned for coming months. Jo will really help us deliver ‘wow’ experiences for our customers and improve our ability to tell the GO Rentals story externally and celebrate our unique brand. Jo’s expertise will really help take GO Rentals to the next level in New Zealand,” he said.
Jo’s role includes responsibility for the GO Brand across the business as well as the generation of revenue from direct channels. Jo will be working closely with the sales team to look at marketing opportunities within other business channels and across new partnerships.
GO Rentals has been operating in New Zealand since 1997 and currently has six branches across New Zealand: Auckland Airport, Auckland CBD, Wellington, Christchurch, Queenstown and Dunedin Airport.
